AHLI Student of the Month!

Seonmi "Sunny" Choi, 11th Grade student at St. Thomas More Academy in Delaware receives high honors.

Sunny worked extremely hard this year to maintain excellent grades and achieve recognition for the Dean's and President's lists while maintaining a 4.0 GPA.

Being inducted into the National Honor Society was a great honor for her, as well as, serving as a Student Ambassador. She enjoys playing the piano and volunteering.

Host parents, Fred and Donna Latteri, mention that her positive and outgoing attitude has served her very well.

Great Job, Sunny, keep up the good work!

Bishop Ludden Junior Senior High School in NY partners with AHLI

AHLI is pleased to announce a new partnership with Bishop Ludden Junior Senior High School in Syracuse, New York. Bishop Ludden Junior Senior High School is recognized as one of the "Top 50" Catholic Schools in America.

Bishop Ludden Junior Senior High School offers an academically challenging college preparatory curriculum including AP, Honors and STEM programming.

Award-winning fine arts and Robotics program, in addition to a strong athletic program.


AHLI Student of the Month!

Gavin Lu, 11th grade student at University Lake School in Wisconsin makes the Math Team!

Selected to participate on the University Lake School's Math Team, he was also nominated to be the Treasurer of the Interact Club! As the Treasurer, he will handle the finances and volunteer at the food bank to serve the hungry, Special Olympics fundraising event, as well as other community service projects. 

His priority is to maintain his solid academic grades in all his classes including AP Calculus and Leadership, but he also enjoys being a part of the ULS Basketball team.

Host parents, Craig and Erin Wiggins comment "he hangs out with the 4 siblings, joins us in the good times and tough times and shares our life".  They look forward to sharing next year with him as he plans to live with them during his Senior year!

AHLI Student of the Month!

Xuwen Lou, a Senior at Harrisburg Academy has been selected to participate in the regional competition at ISEF 2018. In addition to winning a scholarship for the science project entitled "The Effects of Caffeine on E.Coli Bacteria and Mathematical Models" with great findings that caffeine killed some cancer cells, she and her classmate were also awarded the Region 4 at PJAS, CASEF, BioGENEius Competition and the Penn State College Award.

Xuwen has been accepted into 3 excellent universities, is the Vice President of the Student Body, Manager of the High School Boy's Tennis Team and maintains straight "A's" in all her classes at school.

Congratulations, Xuwen, we are proud of you! Keep up the great work!

AHLI Student of the Month!

Siheng Feng, 10th grade student at Belleville Mennonite School in PA was promoted mid-year.

After completing the 9th grade in China and being unsure of the rigorous academic requirements in the USA, Siheng felt he could be more successful if he repeated that grade. After months of hard work, dedication and careful consideration, he was promoted to the 10th grade.

The school, his parents and AHLI agreed that he displayed the discipline and determination to be promoted.

AHLI Student of the Month!

Haruto Saito, 11th grade student at Mount Calvary Christian School in PA won the "CCAC - All Conference Academic Award" in Soccer.

Haruto just began playing soccer this year and this award was one of his greatest accomplishments. Expectations and other accomplishments include maintaining his high grade point average, participating on the basketball team and improving his TOEFL score.

Delaware County Christian School

AHLI is pleased to announce a new partnership with Delaware County Christian School in Delaware.

Delaware County Christian school offers rigorous academic and STEM courses, in addition to being a School for Applied and Innovative Learning (SAIL). Graduates are are accepted to Top-10 universities.

Advanced Technology initiatives include Chromebook for each student, smartboard and document cameras in classrooms.

A robust extra-curricular program with access to athletics, music, drama, clubs, leadership and service opportunities.


The Master's School

AHLI is pleased to announce a new partnership with The Master's School in Connecticut.

The Master's School offers a strong academic program including the Early College Experience (ECE) as well as a Postgraduate Program to improve student's academic profile.

Education is not complete without the arts - this philosophy is continually exhibited through the Scholastic Arts Awards as well as items which are displayed at the New Britain Museum of American Art.

Athletics at The Master's School offers an opportunity to improve skills, foster character traits in addition to raising high moral standards while participating on the teams.

AHLI Student of the Month!

Fengxinyi Zhao, Senior at Turlock Christian School in CA was voted as Valedictorian of her class.

The honor of becoming the Valedictorian at a school indicates that the student is among the top students in the graduating class. Expectations and accomplishments include maintaining a high grade point average; participation and dedication in extracurricular activities and the ability to speak in public.

Strong College Preparation School in California joins AHLI as a Partner

AHLI welcomes Bakersfield Christian High School ("BKHS") to its school network in California. With a student population of 495, the school offers a rigorous curriculum comprising 14 AP courses, 13 Honors Courses and 4 Dual Enrollment courses with Concordia University. BKHS students are accepted into top-notch universities such as Yale University, Vanderbilt University, University of California, Berkeley and University of Southern California.

Besides strong academics, BKHS students enjoys a well-rounded educational experience through a wide variety of athletics, clubs and extra-curricular activities. 

AHLI adds another National Blue Ribbon Award School to its partnership

California Crosspoint Academy ("CCA") is a 2016 recipient of the National Blue Ribbon Award given by the U.S. Department of Education. This award recognizes the school's ranking in the top 15% in the nation for its academic performance. The school is also among the top 0.5% in the USA and California according to the 2016 Washington Post's ranking of "America's Most Challenging High Schools".

CCA offers 18 AP classes with flexible scheduling to promote individualized and comprehensive academic development. The school's International Support Services provide full ESL classes and other programs to offer the students academic, linguistic, cultural, emotional and spiritual support. Its interesting range of extra-curricular activities such as Robotics, Anime/Manga and Martial Arts, etc. ensures students experience a variety of interests for a well-rounded education.

New Partner School in Colorado, Belleview Christian School

Imagine going to school situated on a 100-year old historic campus which includes a castle. AHLI's new partner school, Belleview Christian School in Westminster, Colorado sits on beautiful grounds with a castle built in 1893 which was part of the original Westminster University.

The school offers Dual Enrollment Courses and College Preparatory academics. Belleview Christian School athletic teams have won numerous State and District championships.

AHLI Student of the Month!

Colin Chen from University Lake School had an opportunity to work in the stage crew and managed stage lighting for the performance of the musical entitled "High School Musical". He enjoyed this opportunity so much that he will consider auditioning for the next musical.

Colin continues to work hard at academics and exceeds expectations of his teachers especially in Geometry and Biology.

New Partner School in Arizona, Valley Christian High School

AHLI has partnered with Valley Christian High School in Chandler, Arizona to launch its international program this Fall. VCHS, which recently received SEVIS approval, is nationally ranked in the top 50 of Christian high schools in the USA by

This partnership offers our students an opportunity to enroll in an academically excellent school whose graduates had been accepted into Ivy League and top tier universities such as Princeton University, Cornell University, Northwestern University and Georgetown University just to name a few. VCHS offers 15 AP classes and Dual Enrollment courses to enable students to earn college credits when in high school. 

Besides academic excellence, VCHS has an outstanding athletics program having won 65 state championships in the last 29 years. Its award-winning  music, drama and visual arts program also offers students an opportunity to excel beyond academics. The school chorale has travelled to countries like France, Germany and Poland to perform. 

AHLI Student of the Month!

Amy Lou (pictured on left), student at Harrisburg Academy in PA was one of the 4 proud recipients of a $3,500 IB Scholarship for Summer Study.

The IB Summer Study Scholarship was very competitive and students were required to maintain an exemplary academic record, receive strong recommendations from teachers, complete two essay questions and demonstrate involvement and accomplishments in athletics, the arts, and/or community service.

Brimmer and May School's signature diploma program

We are pleased to announce our partnership with Brimmer and May School located in Boston. The school offers strong academics with several students accepted into Ivy League and other top universities such as Harvard, Brown, Georgetown and UC Berkeley.

Brimmer and May School is well-known for its signature diploma program in three areas of study - STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math), CAP (Creative Arts Program) and Global Studies. With a full range of AP/Honors courses and co-curricular activities, students at the school are well-prepared for application to highly selective colleges and universities.
