J-1 Private School Program

AHLI’s J-1 Private school program matches students with participating AHLI J-1 Private schools based on the student’s interests, academic ability, and available host families. With our wide network of private schools across several states, students are matched with a school and host family that’s a good fit for them. Students will have a well-rounded high school experience, with the opportunity to participate in school sports and activities. Students cannot choose their school or their host family. This program is an excellent choice for students who want a private school experience while improving their English and experiencing American culture. Students will study for 1 year, but diplomas are not granted. This program is geared towards students who want the exchange experience at a lower price than the traditional F-1 visa program.
